I have irregular periods sometimes. Whenever my period is late and my boyfriend and I have sex I almost immediately begin to get severe cramps and within a few hours begin to bleed.

Maybe I’m being highly pessimistic, but from what I’ve seen and heard, the frequency of sex starts to decrease over time. Is this true, and if so, at what point in the relationship does this start to occur?

It is a direct correlation with how long it takes for you to take each other for granted. Usually you will get comfortable with each other and not have that initial love drunk high that it started with. Then you eventually start to take each other for granted and the sex is also taken for granted. It just depends when that happens which differs for every couple. For example, if you live with them it happens faster.
Marriage today is struggling. Divorces, adultery, misconceptions, etc are plaguing not only the marriage itself but products of those marriages (my generation and the next). My hope in this poem is to highlight the most frequent and problematic issues marriages face today while also pointing to Jesus as the ultimate healer, redeemer, and restorer of every marriage. Whether single or married, my intention would be that this poem would allow you to look more deeply to Jesus to either better your current marriage, or prepare for your future marriage.

This is primarily for men but id love input from anyone. How important is the sex to your relationship? If you have a great girlfriend/wife who has a wonderful personality and is loving and caring and funny and all of that and fulfills your needs in those aspects, how important is the sex. Is it about how often you get it or how good it is? If it isn’t spectacular is that a huge problem? If it doesn’t fulfill you completely does that cause you to not value her as much and cause other temptations?
I’m a woman, and I say a good, healthy sex life is integral part of a good marriage, just like everything else you mentioned. Of course, sex is rarely mind-blowing at first, but as you learn each other, it just gets better and better. And I feel that an emotional connection is very important to good sex. How often doesn’t matter, as long as both partners are satisfied with how often.
Why do people have sex when they are teenagers? They know the risks and I bet later in life they will regret that decision.
A lot of people do it it seems because it’s like a normal thing to do, people don’t think it’s a big deal.
I am a teenager, 17, and I have sex, and I am totally willing to say I lost my virginity at a very early age, 15. And I realize many people who have sex at this age regret it later, or are forced into it kind of, but for me, I loved the guy I lost it too, and even though now I don’t like him, he’s changed a lot, I don’t regret losing it to him because at the time I was ready and I wanted to do it with him. My current boyfriend I have sex with and I have no regrets with that, and I don’t think I personally was too young, but I know many people that think they were or are too young.
